אודות הקונסרבטוריון
בחמישים שנות קיומו, הקונסרבטוריון העירוני גבעתיים עומד בשורה הראשונה של בתי הספר למוסיקה בארץ. סגל המורים, המושך אליו תלמידים מכל רחבי הארץ, כולל בתוכו מוסיקאים בכירים המשמשים כמורים גם באקדמיות למוסיקה בארץ ובחו"ל. בוגריו בנו קריירה של מוסיקאים מקצועיים מהשורה הראשונה, בארץ ובחו"ל. תלמידים רבים זוכים במהלך לימודיהם בהעשרה והרחבת אופקים רגשיים ואינטלקטואלים, וכן בחוויות נפלאות שילוו אותם בבגרותם.
מחקרים מדעיים עדכניים מראים כי למוסיקה תפקיד חשוב מאוד בפיתוח הביטחון העצמי של הילדים, וכן בניית האינטליגנציה הרגשית ופיתוח יכולות משמעת, קשב וריכוז.
לפיכך, משלבים הלימודים אצלנו בין רכישת מיומנות בנגינה, בלימוד יחידני, ובין פעילויות קבוצתיות: שיעורי תורת המוסיקה והאזנה מודרכת, נגינה בתזמורות כלי הקשת והנשיפה , שירה במקהלת "עינבלים" ובהרכבים קאמריים רבים ומגוונים.
בנוסף, הקונסרבטוריון מקיים שיעורי נגינה בכינור, חלילית, גיטרה וכלי מקלדת במסגרת פרוייקט מיוחד במסלול קבוצתי בבתי הספר בגבעתיים לאחר שעות הלימודים. פרוייקט זה זוכה להצלחה רבה .
אנו מייחסים בקונסרבטוריון חשיבות רבה ליחס האישי והמטפח לכל תלמיד, בזכותו מוצאים כאן הילדים בית חם וקשוב לצרכיהם.
אהרון שפי היה מנהלו הראשון של הקונסרבטוריון משנת 1954 ועד שנת 1993. אחריו ניהלו מוטי שחר (עד שנת 2003) והד סלע . משנת 2005 מנהלת את הקונסרבטוריון דפני בן עוזר.
About the Conservatory
Since its establishment, the Givatayim Music Conservatory has grown thousands of students. Its' graduates have gained appreciation and knowledge of music, for the rest of their lives lives. Many graduates have become professional musicians, holding key positions in the world of music, both in Israel and abroad. The others, although they chose different career paths, have become enthusiastic audience, and they are true music lovers.
The Givatayim Music Conservatory combines a very high standard of learning with a warm and supportive environment. This combination enables every student to utilize their musical talents to the utmost and to regard the Conservatory as their second home.
Every student enjoys a versatile schooling: from individual lessons, to participation in one of the the string and wind orchestras, theory classes and chamber music ensembles. The Conservatory also runs a special project of group lessons after school hours in all of the primary schools in Givatayim. Hundreds of young students study violin, recorder , guitar and keyboard instruments as a part of a special successful program.
The Conservatory has always been in the forefront of music education in Israel, and it has made a significant contribution to the advancement of the field. It was among the first inIsrael to establish and cultivate a symphony orchestra and a children's choir, and it has served as a consultant and "trainer" for other conservatories as they take their first steps.
The founder, Aharon Sheffi, was the first director since 1954. Followd him: Motti Shahar (1993-2003), Hed Sella (2003-2005). Dafni Ben-Ozer is the current director.
